William A. Lichtig
William A. (Will) Lichtig is executive vice president of project and business development for The Boldt Company. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of California-Santa Cruz and a JD degree from the University of California-Davis School of Law.
Will is responsible for developing project opportunities, primarily through Boldt’s brand of Integrated Lean Project Delivery (ILPD), and for healthcare and manufacturing projects nationally. He developed the Lean Integrated Form of Agreement for Sutter Health in its $6 billion healthcare program. He is a frequent lecturer to all segments of the planning, design, and construction industry, speaking to architects, engineers, contractors, and owners concerning the fundamentals of ILPD. He has been a board member of the Lean Construction Institute (LCI), recently served as its chairman of the board, and is a leading contributor in the International Group for Lean Construction (IGLC). He has been noted as an ENR Newsmaker and is the recipient of the Lean Construction Institute Pioneer Award.
Will is married to Ilene Starin and they have three children and two grandchildren. The couple lives near the American River in California, and Will is an avid whitewater kayaker and river rafter.
