William R. Calhoun, Jr.
William R. (Bill) Calhoun, Jr., is vice chairman and executive vice president of Clark Construction Group in Bethesda, MD. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Georgia Tech. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. At Clark, he is responsible for driving the company’s strategic direction, including the acquisition of new work and identifying new and emerging markets. He began his career with Clark in 1983 and has over three decades of industry experience. He has provided leadership on numerous award-winning projects, including the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency New Campus East, Brooke Army Medical Center, Verizon Center, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology Advanced Measurement Laboratory.
Bill is a member of the external advisory board of Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering. He serves as a national peer in the GSA Construction Excellence Peer Review Program and has served on the board of directors for the Construction Industry Roundtable. He has been honored with induction into the Georgia Tech College of Engineering Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni.
