Gilbane

Thomas F. (Tom) F. Gilbane, Jr., is chairman and CEO of Gilbane, Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Babson College and a master’s degree from MIT. Tom’s experience at Gilbane began with summer employment, and he served in several positions with the firm prior to his current role. He is active in professional and community affairs, serving as a board member of United Way, two corporations, one bank, two universities, and three nonprofit organizations.

He has been particularly active in the ACE Mentor Program. Tom has received recognition from St. Jude’s Hospital, the Boy Scouts of America, Phoenix Horses of New England, United Way, and Children’s Friends and Services.

Tom and Mary have been married for 37 years, including seven years in Mary’s home town of Cleveland. They have three sons and a daughter and six grandchildren. Tom and Mary enjoy weekend golf and have been involved in planning several USGA events.
