Tim Green
Tim Green is director, George H.W. Bush Combat Development Complex, at Texas A&M University. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering at Texas A&M. He served a highly decorated 31-year career in the U. S. Air Force, retiring as a major general and Director of Air Force Civil Engineers. He was responsible for organizing, training, and equipping a military and civilian workforce. Tim ensured the success of USAF civil engineer operations following its largest re-organization in over two decades. In his current position, he oversees 65 principal investigators, research engineers, and staff and 40 students as they conduct research, development, testing, and evaluation of critical national security technologies. The purpose is to accelerate the development, integration, and transfer of technology to advance U.S. defense and security capabilities. Tim is a Registered Professional Engineer and a member of both ASCE and the Society of American Military Engineers. He is a member of the Merrick & Company Board of Directors. He also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board, School of Architecture, at Texas A&M.
