Steven Halverson
Steven (Steve) Halverson is chairman, president, and CEO of The Haskell Company, a Jacksonville, FL, based company and one of the largest integrated engineering and construction and design-build firms in the U.S., with operations in the U.S., Latin America, and Asia. He holds a BA degree from St. John’s University, a JD from American University, and has completed executive business education programs at Dartmouth University and Wharton.
Steve is active in professional and business organizations. He is past chair of the Construction Industry Round Table and the Design-Build Institute of America, and past chair of the NCCER Board of Trustees. He currently serves as a corporate director of CSX Corporation, Guidewell Mutual Insurance Company, and ACIG, a Texas group-captive insurance company.
Steve also is active in civic organizations, having served as chair of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Council of 100, as well as in numerous other civic organizations. He has been honored many times, and is a recipient of the University of North Florida Presidential Medallion and the Governor’s Business Leader of the Year Award.
