Hanks

Stephen G. (Steve) Hanks is retired resident and CEO of Washington Group International. He earned an accounting degree from Brigham Young University, an MBA from the University of Utah-Salt Lake City, and a JD degree from the University of Idaho College of Law.

His professional activities, in addition to activity in the Boy Scouts, include involvement in The Business Roundtable and serving as chairman of the Board of the Danny Thompson Leukemia Foundation as well as president of the Boise Public Schools Education Foundation.

Steve and Debra, who met as students at BYU, have four children. Their pastimes include fishing, snow skiing, and water skiing.
