Sandy Hamby is CEO and president of MOCA Systems, Inc., an owner’s design and construction representative and software firm. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Oklahoma. She previously served as an architect and a construction manager for the U.S. Air Force, 3D/I, Carter Burgess, and Jacobs. Under Sandy’s leadership, MOCA developed Touchplan™, a collaborative construction planning software that connects the office and the field. MOCA has become a national leader in the renovation of state capitols and the restoration of government buildings. With over 30 years of experience in construction management, she is recognized as an expert in collaboration with an intense focus on successful project delivery. Her specialized experience includes planning and programming, design management, program integration, construction management, information and communication management, and project controls. Sandy is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a Certified Construction Manager, and a Fellow of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) College of Fellows. She has served as vice-chair of the CMAA Board of Directors.
