Susan Bogus
Susan Bogus is the AGC Endowed Chair Professor of Construction Engineering and Management in the Department of Civil, Construction & Environmental Engineering at the University of New Mexico. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a PhD from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She previously was a project manager/project engineer for CH2M HILL. She teaches and researches in the area of construction engineering and asset management. Her role as a principal or co-principal researcher includes funding from the National Science Foundation to advance sustainable construction technology education. Susan also coordinated research activities at the University of New Mexico as associate director of the USDOT Region 6 University Transportation Center. She advises doctoral and masters students at UNM and has supported undergrads in community involvement and student competitions as faculty advisor for the UNM chapters of AGC and the National Association of Homebuilders.
