Blair

Scott Blair serves as editor-in-chief of ENR, including all editorial print and digital products, websites, videos, podcasts and events. He is a graduate of Vassar College. Winner of multiple awards from Jesse H. Neal, Construction Media Alliance, Construction Working Minds, AZBEES, and the Telly Awards for his writing, editing, photography, and videography, Scott frequently posts in-depth project tour videos and interviews with industry leaders on the ENR video channel. In 2022, he was honored with the Shining a Light Media Award from Construction Working Minds for spotlighting mental health and substance misuse in the construction industry in an ENR cover story, helping to remove stigma and propel real action to combat these epidemics. In 2023, he was selected as the McAllister Editorial Fellow, in which as a teacher and advisor he promotes the study of business media at the Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism. His writing and reporting experience covers topics such as diversity and inclusion, design and jobsite technology, construction means and methods, and marketing. He has worked in radio, television, film, print and digital media, music composition, and public speaking.
