Ronald N. Magnus
Ron Magnus is a partner at FMI Corporation, a consulting and investment firm that specializes in the engineering, construction, and other sectors of the built environment. He is the founder of FMI's Leadership & Organizational Development practice and creator of its Leadership Institute, the industry’s premier program for individuals and teams in the construction industry. The Leadership Institute has nearly 10,000 alumni in positions of influence. He leads executive teams in developing leaders, high performing organizations, and teamwork around the world, primarily in chairing, directing, and advising boards of directors. In 2018, Ron was recognized as a Top Global Consultant for Influence by Consulting® magazine, London.
Prior to joining FMI, Ron flew fighter aircraft for 12 years for the U.S. Air Force and was one of the first guardsmen to graduate from its space and missile training program. His military distinctions include the Top Gun award. He also taught leadership to cadets and officers at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, for five years.
