Robert C. Lanham
Bob Lanham is president of Williams Brothers Construction in Houston, TX. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with honors, from Texas A&M University. After graduation from A&M, he was a combat engineer and paratrooper, achieving the rank of captain, in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He joined Williams Brothers in 1985 as a project engineer, with a career path that steadily progressed into the executive branch, becoming president in 2013. He has been involved in over 250 projects, including involvement in every aspect of project delivery. Bob is currently the president of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), an organization that he has a long and proud affiliation with. He served 10 years on the AGC Board of Directors. His service as AGC president began in March 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the AGC leadership requested he serve an additional year, which he gladly accepted.
