Conner

Rick Conner is president and partner of American Structurepoint, a multidiscipline consulting firm headquartered in Indianapolis, IN. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Purdue University. Since becoming the firm’s leader in 1990, Rick has expanded offices throughout the Midwest and opened design centers in new markets in Texas and Florida. In 2002 and 2011, Rick was named among those listed in the Indianapolis Business Journal “Who’s Who in Construction, Design, and Engineering.” He achieved a career distinction in 2020 by being named an ASCE Fellow, recognizing his incredible contributions to the industry.

Rick is passionate about making a difference and he has led American Structurepoint to define the standard of excellence for people across the world who want help building and bettering their community. In 2015, he was recognized by Purdue with its College of Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award. In 2019, ACEC Indiana selected him to receive its Consulting Engineer of the Year Award.
