Cavallaro

Richard (Rich) Cavallaro is CEO of LIRO Group. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the City College of New York. Rich is part of Skanska AB’s Senior Executive Team responsible for global operations. He is primarily responsible for Skanska USA Building and Skanska USA Civil, and also oversees collaborative efforts with Skanska USA Commercial Development and Skanska Infrastructure Development North America.

Prior to his current position, Rich served as president of Skanska USA Civil, which was recognized as Skanska’s Business Unit of the Year twice during his stewardship. He expanded the company’s geographic footprint by helping to secure work in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.

He led the sharing of expertise across the company to explore how to best implement alternative delivery methods. He also launched the Skanska’s national Power & Industrial Center of Excellence (COE). He has been honored many times by such groups as the United Way, Family and Children’s Association, the South Queens Boys Club, and Guide Dogs for Long Island.

Rich enjoys an active family life with his wife, Rosanne, and their six children. He is an ardent football fan and enjoys playing tennis.
