Randy Castro
Randy Castro is president, federal business, at Black and Veatch. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, and obtained a master’s in civil engineering from Stanford University and a master’s in national security from the Naval War College. He leads all federal programs for Black & Veatch: DOD, federal civilian, practice and regional leads. He leads a nationwide team that leverages business opportunities for the federal government into Black & Veatch business lines. Randy was previously senior vice president, federal programs, at AECOM and president of AECOM Services Inc. Prior to his retirement from the
U.S. Army as a Major General, he served as the deputy director, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Fort Belvoir, VA. Randy served as Commanding General in two U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Divisions: the Pacific Ocean Division in Fort Shafter, HI, and the South Atlantic Division in Atlanta, GA. He also served as the Deputy Commandant of Engineers, U.S. Army Engineer School and as the Commanding General, U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center, Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and Commandant, U.S. Army Engineers. He is a board member of the Army Engineer Association, Arizona State University, and the Society of American Military Engineers.
