Ralph Larison
Ralph Larison is retired senior vice president and a member of the board of directors of Herzog Contracting Corporation. His career started as a carpenter, and he rose through the ranks to become president of Connolly-Pacific Co., a firm heavily involved in marine construction. He attended Cal State-Long Beach University, but was unable to finish because of his heavy work load at Connolly-Pacific Co.
He has been active in professional affairs, particularly in the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), both in California and nationally. He is a past-president of the Beavers and of the AGC of California, and is a founder and past president of Future Ports. He also is active locally and at the national level in the Camp Fire Boys and Girls Organization.
Ralph and Patti have been married for 35 years. They have a son and a daughter and four grandsons. Their passion, outside of construction, is big game deep sea fishing. Their boat, Sorcerer, makes regular trips around Santa Catalina Island and to Cabo San Lucas. They are members of the Tuna Club of Avalon, the nation’s oldest “big game” club. They play occasional golf and love to travel.
