Vigue

Peter G. Vigue is chairman, president and CEO of the Cianbro Companies, an organization he joined as a laborer in 1970. He holds a bachelor’s degree in maritime engineering from the Maine Maritime Academy.

Peter has been a pioneer in modern management methods and, in particular, his commitment to safety. He has been active in numerous professional and civic organizations, including the Construction Industry Institute (CII), the Associated General Contractors of America (ACG), the Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT), Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and the Boy Scouts of America.

He and his company have received 14 awards in the past five years. He is a member of the Maine Maritime Hall of Honor.

Peter and Carole have two children and four grandchildren.
