Peter A. Marchetto
Peter A. Marchetto is president of the Americas for Tishman Construction. He earned a degree in architectural engineering from the University of Maryland. Peter has over 35 years of construction industry experience. His hands-on experience comes from a wide range of market sectors: hi-rises, corporate campuses, hotels, courthouses, technology facilities, restoration, retail, and many types of public buildings. At Tishman, he provides construction expertise and serves on the firm’s Executive Management Committee.
Recent projects for Tishman include One World Trade Center, WTC Towers 3 and 4, the renovation of the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Tishman, Peter was CEO of Bovis Lend Lease Americas and was responsible for 19 U.S. offices and three in Latin America. Bovis’ projects under his watch included the Venetian Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Time Warner Center in New York City, and Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, in Queens, NY. He is past chair of the New York Building Congress.
He actively supports the Boy Scouts of America, Junior Achievement, and Nontraditional Employment for Women (NEW).
