Peter C. Forster
Peter C. (Pete) Forster held various positions in Blount Brothers, including president, prior to joining George Hyman/Clark Construction Company in 1987. In 1996, he became chairman and CEO of Clark Construction Company. Pete earned civil engineering and business degrees from Texas A&M University.
He has held several chair positions in the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the Construction Industry Institute (CII), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Construction Industry Roundtable. He has served on the engineering advisory board of Texas A&M University and was recognized as a Distinguished Civil Engineering Graduate of Texas A&M in 2006.
Pete and Betsy, his wife of 44 years, live in the Washington, D.C., area. Betsy enjoys landscape painting. They have two children and six grandchildren. The couple also has another home in Jackson, WY. Their hobbies include hiking, fly fishing, and involvement in the Boy Scouts and church activities.
