Peter J. Davoren is the president and CEO of Turner Construction. The company now offers building services in 20 countries, has 48 offices in the U.S., and reported over 1,500 projects totaling $8 billion in 2011. Turner is the largest green builder in the nation through Peter’s initiatives on many LEED certified projects designated by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Peter encourages diversity in Turner’s workforce for both minorities and women. He has been recognized for his work by the National Minority Supplier Development Council for his longstanding accomplishments and commitments to minority business and development. He sent a delegation of 50 women to represent Turner at the ENR Groundbreaking Women in Construction Conference in 2012. He encourages all Turner employees to participate in local ACE Mentor affiliates nationwide, and several local ACE affiliates have been started by Turner employees.

He and his leadership team at Turner were recognized by the National Building Museum with its 2013 Honor Award, not only for their achievements in global construction, but for their initiatives in training, green building, and minority business and employment practices.

Peter is married to Stacey Farley.
