Pat Rodgers in president and CEO of Rodgers Builders, Inc., in Charlotte, NC. Queens University of Charlotte has honored her with a Doctor of Humane Letters and Johnson & Wales University bestowed her with an honorary Doctorate of Business Administration.

She served as chair of the Construction Industry Round Table and was a member of both the executive committee and the board of directors of the ACE Mentor Program of America.
She is widely known in North Carolina for her community involvement. She is the past chair of the board of directors for Central Piedmont Community College Foundation, and sits on the boards of the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, the Charlotte Merchants Foundation, and the Charlotte Regional Partnership. She has chaired the board of the Carolinas chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). In 2011, the governor of North Carolina presented her with the Order of the Longleaf Pine, one of the highest civilian awards in the state.
