Whelan

Palmina Whelan is principal of Palmina Whelan Strategic Solutions, which delivers aviation and infrastructure programs with a focus on master planning, site development, and strategic advisory. She previously was managing director at American Airlines and the strategic lead for airport master planning and development for the Northeast, Dallas, and Central Regions of the U.S and Canada. She established a successful track record of delivering results, reducing costs, and increasing shareholder value while building collaboration and balancing the operational efficiency and business/financial viability of projects.

Palmina was inducted into the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) College of Fellows and the Hall of Fame for Power Women Business, Schneps Media. Palmina also has be awarded by the New York City and the State of New York for “Responsible 100 Recognition,” the Rockaway Development & Revitalization Corporation, the Women’s Building Council, and the Society of American Military Engineers. She also received a Certificate of Achievement from the U.S. House of Representatives and a Citation of Honor from the Office of the President.
