Nancy Novak is chief innovation officer at Compass Datacenters in Fairfax, VA. She earned a degree in construction engineering and management from San Diego State University. Nancy serves on the National Institute of Building Sciences Executive Board of Directors, the World Trade Center Institute Board of Directors, and the board of directors for Weston Solutions, a global environmental firm. Innovative, dedicated, and positive, she is a strong advocate for women in business, including Above Glass Ceilings, a group that is working with Fortune 500 companies to assist such international organizations as Women in STEM, Women in Government Relations, and Women Construction Owners and Executives. Groups such as the Urban Land Institute, the Ace Mentor Program, and ENR have included her as an invited speaker for their gatherings. Recognized many times for her work, she was honored most recently by Data Centre magazine as the Top Woman, Number One, in Data Centers in the U.S. in 2021 and 2022. In 2023, Infrastructure Masons honored her with its Luminary Award and inducted her into the iMasons Hall of Fame.
