Rosenquist

Maja Rosenquist is a senior vice president with Mortenson in Denver, CO. She earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from the University of Washington. At Mortenson since 1994, she has ascended to become the firm’s highest-ranking female operations executive. She matches her project leadership with her passion for improving communities, as she is a prominent figure in both her community and the construction industry. She strongly advocates for a more robust, diverse, and equitable workforce pipeline within Mortenson and the broader construction community. As the executive sponsor of Mortenson’s Women in Construction business resource group, she has successfully implemented programs benefiting both craft and office team members, earning Mortenson the Trailblazer recognition at the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 Champions of Change Awards. The Denver Business Journal named her to its Outstanding Women in Business list and selected her as the recipient of its Power Book Award. Maja served as an advisory board member to the CU-Boulder School of Engineering and is a past board member of the University of Washington Construction Advisory Committee.
