Marco Campos
Marco Campos is founder and executive chairman/chief culture officer of Campos Holding Company headquartered in Denver, CO. In just under 20 years with now over 800 employees, The Campos Family of companies includes eight companies that are focused in and around energy infrastructure throughout North America. A native of Denver, Marco knew at an early age that he wanted to run his own company. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado-Boulder. He has worked in a variety of engineering, operations, project management, and management capacities for oil and gas pipeline/terminal and consulting companies. He maintains an in-depth knowledge of pipeline operations, maintenance, and construction, with an emphasis on pipeline integrity management. After working in different engineering and project management roles for eight years, he founded Campos EPC, his initial company. The Campos Foundation was created through his passion to elevate under-represented minorities and women in their pursuit of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics careers. As a Registered Professional Engineer, over the years he has served on several company and university advisory boards. In 2017, CU-Boulder recognized him with its Distinguished Alumni Award.
