Scott S. Lynn
Scott Lynn is majority owner and chairman of Gracon LLC, a company he and partners acquired in 2014. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University, a master’s in engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Scott previously was president and CEO of Guy F. Atkinson Construction, with operations in several states in the western U.S. He also led Flatiron Construction as president and CEO for more than two decades. He is known for building unique teams through his use of advanced human resources methods. With extensive experience as a contractor, construction manager, and program manager, Scott has led organizations in building iconic and challenging heavy/civil projects.
His work in large technical projects includes the segmental bridges in Glenwood Canyon, Colorado. At Gracon, he oversees specialized work in rebuilding and repairing hydroelectric power plants as well as mechanical work for both Dahlgren Industrial and the Boeing Company. He is a past chairman of the Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT). A registered Professional Engineer in Colorado, Scott received the Golden Beaver Award for Management in 2014 from the heavy engineering honorary organization, the Beavers.
