Laura F. Stagner, FAIA, DBIA, PMP
Laura Stagner retired as assistant commissioner in the Office of Project Delivery for the General Services Administration and is now principal, Stagner Consulting, in Cherry Hill, NJ. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Virginia, master’s degrees in both architecture and construction management from the University of Michigan, and a master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University. Her 27 years of service with GSA Public Buildings Service involved leading projects in all U.S. states and territories. Innovative and a natural leader, she transformed her organization, replacing outdated project and program management systems. She also developed a project delivery system method selection tool and introduced dashboards that mined data from a GSA business system. Laura is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, a member of the Construction Management Association of America and the Design-Build Institute of America and has served as a member of the board of directors for both CMAA and DBIA. A Licensed Architect and highly sought-after speaker, the GSA honored her with the Administrator’s Exceptional Service Award in 2019.
