Snyder III

Les Snyder is executive vice president of Brightline West, Las Vegas, NV. He is the executive construction leader for the Brightline West project that will connect Las Vegas and Southern California with the first all-electric, high- speed passenger rail service in the nation. His storied career encompasses leading companies throughout North America and the Caribbean with projects in the vertical, heavy/civil, and industrial sectors. He also has extensive merger and acquisition experience and is recognized by his peers as an exceptional leader. He is a strong advocate for alternative project delivery methods. In the public-private sector, he has led multiple public-private partnership projects, secured the formation of joint ventures with both domestic and multi-national partners, and developed relationships with major design and engineering firms. Highlighting 30-plus years of activity, he is the immediate past president of the Associated General Contractors of America and has a lifetime appointment to the AGC Board of Governors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the Swanson School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2016, his alma mater recognized him as a Distinguished Alumnus.
