Lucian Niemeyer
Lucian Niemeyer is the CEO of the nonprofit organization, Building Cyber Security, enhancing physical safety in the built environment. In 2023, he assumed leadership of NADSCO Tech, accelerating development and deployment of digital, wireless, and building technologies. Lucian also co- founded the United Coalition for Advanced Nuclear Power. He is a 21-year U.S. Air Force active and National Guard veteran. He also served for 11 years on the professional staff of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee. In 2017, Lucian was appointed an Assistant Secretary of Defense, managing the world’s largest real property portfolio and responsible for improving resilience in the construction, sustainment, and modernization of facilities. He also served as an Assistant Secretary of the Navy and in the Office of Management and Budget at the White House, overseeing national security programs. He holds an architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from George Washington University, and a master’s in strategic studies from the Naval War College. He is a Fellow in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and an honorary Seabee.
