Lillian Borrone
Lillian C. Borrone is a retired member of the STV Board of Directors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from American University and a master’s in civil engineering and transportation management from Manhattan College.
She is past chair of the Eno Center for Transportation in Washington, D.C. She retired from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as assistant executive director, where she advised the Authority on international trade and development, real estate from maritime, aviation, and mixed-use development projects, and transportation capital management. She served as Port Authority director of Management and Budget and Assistant Director of Aviation. She served over 12 years as director of the Port Commerce Department, overseeing the New York and New Jersey Marine Terminals, waterfront, and economic development projects. She also served as a political appointee at the U. S. Department of Transportation.
Lillian serves on the boards of several public and private companies. She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the National Academy of Public Administration and the Maritime Association Hall of Fame. She considers herself multimodal in background.
Lillian has been married to Ed for 25 years and is an avid reader.
