Luciana Burdi
Luciana Burdi is the director for capital programs and environmental affairs for the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport). She holds a master's degree from the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (Venice, Italy), and a doctorate from Harvard Graduate School of Design. She is responsible for the development, administration, and execution of the capital investment program for all Massport facilities, including Logan International Airport and other real estate properties. She is committed to creating a culture of continuous improvement and helping Massport become more data- and technology-driven.
In 2019, Luciana received the Women in Design Award from the AIA-Boston Society of Architects (BSA). The Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) has recognized her with national honors, including the Chair’s Innovation Award, Sustainability Award, and New Technologies Techniques in CM Award. She is an active member of the BSA and AGC. She also is a member of the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) BIM Program Steering Committee, the Northeastern University Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Industrial Advisory Board, and a board member of the Lean Construction Institute.
