Kate Harris is chair, president, and CEO of Stanley Consultants, based in Broomfield, CO. A United Kingdom honors graduate, she has served as an international engineering business leader for over 30 years, promoting business innovation and client and community excellence. She participated in the first public-private partnership in the UK, has advised private and public organizations on partnering and clean tech investments, and led international multi-year, multi-stakeholder contract strategies, negotiations, and delivery programs. Since 2017, Kate has led Stanley through a significant transformation while protecting its culture and honoring its legacy. Today, the company is known for its entrepreneurialism, business of engineering thought leadership, passion for people, and its philanthropy, directed largely through its charitable foundation and community outreach activities. She was certified by eminence by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AAEES) as a Board-Certified Environmental Engineering Member (BCEEM) in May 2022. Among her board memberships, she serves on the University of Miami College of Engineering Review Board Academic Review Committee. In 2022, she was honored as the CEO of the Year by the Environmental Financial Consulting Group.
