Kevin Fitzpatrick
Kevin Fitzpatrick is president and chief executive officer of Benesch, a planning, engineering, and professional services firm headquartered in Chicago. He holds a civil engineering degree from Purdue University. Kevin is responsible for the strategic vision that guides operations, business development, and corporate functions and is also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. He served as the Great Lakes Regional Manager overseeing operations and business development for the Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Railroad Divisions.
Prior to this he was the Illinois Division Manager, responsible for one of the company’s largest profit centers. Preparing him for the Division Manager role was the time he spent managing construction for of some of the largest public projects in the City of Chicago. Kevin is currently chairman of the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association, Planning and Design Division; a member of Purdue University’s Civil Engineering Advisory Council; and a member of ACEC’s Design Professionals Coalition. Among Kevin’s notable achievements is being one of a select few awarded with Purdue University’s prestigious Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award.
