Keith Molenaar
Keith Molenaar is the K. Stanton Lewis Professor of Construction Engineering and Management and the associate dean for research in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado-Boulder. He holds a bachelor of science degree in architectural engineering and a masters and a PhD in civil engineering from CU Boulder.
Keith has been an active teacher and researcher in the areas of alternative project delivery, risk analysis, and cost engineering. Among his many recognitions and awards, Keith has been inducted into the Pan American Academy of Engineering, was recognized by the Design-Build Institute of America as a charter design-build designee, was the recipient of DBIA’s Academic Leadership Award, and was selected by Public Works magazine as a Top 50 Trendsetter for his work in alternative contracting in the public sector. Keith has been a member of technical review committees for a number of large science and infrastructure projects, including the ITER fusion project, the Long Baseline Neutrino Facility/Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment, the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, and the Panama Canal Expansion.
