Joseph W. Martinelli
Joseph W. (Joe) Martinelli is a charter member of the National Academy of Construction. He is the founder and principal consultant of PiPRO. Joe was president of Chevron Pipe Line Company before forming Performance Improvement Consultants, now PiPRO, in 1998.
He has decades of experience in the petroleum industry, including conventional exploration and production, heavy oil and coal development, engineering design and construction, and transportation. Previously, he was the general manager of Chevron’s Engineering Technology Department.
During his career, Joe has served as president or executive committee member of numerous major industrial organizations, and on the business advisory boards of many educational institutions. He is a former chairman of the Construction Industry Institute (CII).
Joe and Karen live in Whitefish Bay, WI.
