Mihm

John C. Mihm currently is head of JCM Consulting. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Texas Tech University.

For 38 years, John held various positions with Phillips Petroleum Company, retiring as senior vice president of technology and product development. He played a key role in the completion and start-up of the Ekofisk Production Platform in the North Sea. He has also directed the research and development of many refining and petrochemical processes that have had significant commercial applications.

Among his many honors, John has been recognized as Bartlesville, OK, Citizen of the Year, inducted into the Oklahoma State University College of Engineering Hall of Fame, and is a Distinguished Engineer, Texas Tech University. He also has been recognized with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Engineering and Construction Contracting (ECC) Award, the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) Outstanding Engineer in Management Award, and the Silver Bear and Silver Antelope Awards from the Boy Scouts of America.

John lives in Frisco, TX.
