Suarez

J. J. Suárez established the CSA Group in 1995. A native of Cuba, he holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, and master’s and PhD degrees from Cornell University. CSA Group is a full-service project delivery firm with 800 employees and 14 offices in North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.

J. J. has been active in the Construction Industry Institute (CII), served as CII chairman in 2007, and is the recipient of CII’s highest honor, the Carroll H. Dunn Award of Excellence. He served as president of the National Academy of Construction in 2011. He received the Puerto Rico Chapter Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Businessman of the Year Award, and the Cincinnati Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Leadership Award.

He also has held several leadership positions in organizations such as the Construction Industry Round Table and the ACE Mentor Program of America.

He and his wife and business partner, Ginger, live in Cincinnati, OH.
