Jack F. Browder
Jack Browder has over 40 years of experience developing, building, and operating hydrocarbon plants and power plants. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. He retired as CEO and president of Northern Star Generation in 2015 after 11 years with the company. He began his career with Brown & Root in the mid-1970s. He served in numerous executive, sales, and project management positions, including as president of the Brown & Root Power Business Unit. He also was head of worldwide sales for the Brown & Root Petroleum & Chemical Business Unit.
Prior to joining Northern Star Generation, he was chief operating officer of eCORP, a privately-held Houston-based company that developed, owned, and operated underground natural gas storage facilities. He also has been president of KBR Development Corporation, a joint venture between Kellogg Brown & Root and Mitsubishi, established to develop hydrocarbon-related plants on a limited-recourse, project-financed basis. Since retiring from Northern Star Generation, Jack has been a principal of Westney Consulting Group, which advises builders of large capital expenditure projects to help them achieve greater capital certainty and achieve successful implementation of their projects.
