Ira A. Fulton
Ira A. Fulton attended Arizona State University and received his bachelor’s degree in business administration. In 1979, he started Fulton Homes, a prominent residential homebuilding company that erects approximately 1,400 homes per year. Additionally, he developed and owned 33 Eagleson’s Big & Tall Men’s Clothing stores in California, which he sold in 1995.
The colleges of engineering at Arizona State University and Brigham Young University both carry his name. Ira has been recognized as an Honorary Chief of the Navajo Nation and Chief of the Student Warriors. He has also received the Merrill J. Bateman President’s Award. He is well-known for his philanthropic activities, and serves on many advisory councils and clubs.
Ira and Mary Lou recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
