Beck III

Henry C. (Peter) Beck III is Executive Chairman and Managing Director of The Beck Group in Dallas, TX. He holds a BS in civil engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University. He joined the company in 1977 as an office engineer. Upon becoming president of the general partner of The Beck Group in the early 1990s, he was instrumental in transitioning the 100-year-old HCB Construction Company that was founded by his grandfather into an award-winning design-build company.

With over 30 years’ experience with the company, he has a laser focus on exceeding customer expectations, which is reflected by an 85 percent customer retention rate. His company is consistently rated as one of the “Top 100 Places to Work” by the Dallas Morning News. Peter is a member of several civic-service boards in the Dallas area.

He and his wife, Beth, live in Dallas. His daughter lives in Los Angeles and his son attends business school in London.
