Harold F. Force
Harold Force is president of Force Construction Company, Inc., and executive vice president of Force Design, Inc., in Columbus, IN. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Purdue University. He joined his family firm after his post-graduate studies at Purdue and has led the company to its current position as one of the leading contractors in Indiana.
Known as a leader, Harold is highly sought after for advice on construction activities from government agencies. He is a past president of both the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Indiana and the Indiana Construction Association. He designed and built the Bowen High Performance Civil Engineering Laboratory at Purdue, which is considered one of the finest of its kind in the U.S.
He is a Registered Professional Engineer in 11 states, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers. Purdue University has honored him with its Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award and its College of Engineering Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award.
