E. Ann McNeill
Ann McNeill is the president/CEO of MCO Construction. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Memorial University and a master’s in finance from Barry University. MCO Construction is one of South Florida’s few African American-female owned construction companies, founded over 40 years ago. Her firm has worked on a majority of the flagship projects in South Florida, including the Miami Airlines Arena, Marlins Ballpark, Miami International Airport, Miami Science Museum, and Miami Children’s Courthouse.
Being a female licensed general contractor, Ann discovered that women in the construction business were few and far between. As a result, she established the National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC) to help build a network for professional black women. As a result of her track record of accomplishments, Ann has been featured in Black Enterprise magazine, USA Today, and ABC World News. She has received numerous awards and recognitions for her work in the industry and in her community. She serves as president and founder of the International Mastermind Association and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta and West Palm Beach Rotary.
