Donald D. Graul
Don Graul is president of the Parsons Construction Group. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska and completed the London School of Business senior management program. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in 10 states. He has an extensive background in operations, business development, organizational management, and turnaround.
He is known for his strong industrywide relationships with departments of transportation, concessionaires, and contractors. When combined with his expertise in strategy development and team building, he represents a key factor in Parsons’ successful execution of programs using alternative project delivery methods such as design-build and public-private partnerships. Prior to working for Parsons, he held prominent positions with AECOM, Modern Continental Construction, URS Corporation, and Fluor Corporation.
He has extensive alternative project delivery experience throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. He is a member of several professional associations, including The Beavers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Design-Build Institute of America, and the Transportation Research Board. Among his many mega- projects, he actively managed the $1.2 billion Transportation Exchange in Denver, the $1.8 billion North East Stoney Trail in Calgary, Alberta, and the $2 billion Tower at Dubai Creek, Dubai, UAE.
