Donald C. Vaughn
Donald C. (Don) Vaughn spent the majority of his career with M.W. Kellogg, where he served as CEO from 1983-1995 and retired as vice-chairman in 2001. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech. After two years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, he joined Dresser Industries, rising to the position of president and COO.
Don has been active professionally, including service as chair of the advisory committee of the Export Import Bank and chair of the U.S. Section of the Turkish-U.S. Business Council. He also served on the College of Engineering Foundation Advisory Council at The University of Texas at Austin.
He and Moira recently celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. They have one son, two daughters, and seven grandchildren. Don enjoys golf, bird shooting, fly fishing, and his daily exercise routine.
