Dennis A. Schroeder
Dennis A. Schroeder served as president of the BE&K Engineering Company. He joined BE&K in 1977 after earning a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He is a Registered Professional Engineer in several states. He has been active professionally, particularly in the Construction Industry Institute, where he served in many capacities, including chairman of the Construction Industry Institute (CII) Board of Advisors. Dennis also has served on the industry advisory board of the Texas A&M University Construction Executive Program and on The University of Alabama Engineering School Leadership Board. His alma mater, UW-Madison, honored him with its Lifetime Achievement Award.
Dennis and Sherry, his wife of 38 years, have two sons and two grandsons. They have a second home on Amelia Island, FL. Dennis played baseball for the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has a low handicap in golf. He is a sports fan and has traveled extensively in business.
