Ashley

David B. Ashley is currently the Director of Industry Relations, School of Engineering at the University of Dayton.  He is also an Adjunct Professor of Engineering Practice, Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Southern California. He holds a BS in civil engineering from MIT, master’s degrees from MIT and Stanford, and a PhD from Stanford.

He began his career at Guy F. Atkinson, then served on the faculties of MIT, The University of Texas at Austin, the University of California-Berkeley, The Ohio State University, the University of California-Merced, and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. He also served in a progression of administrative positions at those universities. He is the recipient of several industry awards, including Distinguished Membership in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
