F. Dave Zanetell
Dave Zanetell is president of Kraemer North America LLC, an ENR top 400 highway, marine, structures, and rail contractor. He holds engineering degrees from the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Colorado-Boulder. Previously Dave had over 25 years of distinguished public service culminating as director of engineering for the Federal Highway Administration, Central Federal Lands Highway Division, where he was responsible for 14 Western states and territories. He has expertise in alternately delivered transportation projects and integrating design and construction. Major projects he managed include the Hoover Dam Bypass and the fast-track design/build reconstruction in of flood-decimated highways in Yosemite National Park.
Dave is a member of the executive board for American Road and Transportation Builders Association and the board of directors for the Beavers. He is the recipient of the ASCE Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award. He also is a Distinguished Engineering Honoree of the Colorado School of Mines and University of Colorado.
Dave and Bev are both west slope Colorado natives and have two adult children, Morgan and Brock.
