Dave Conover
Dave Conover is an industry leader with over 40 years in the management and delivery of small to mega-size projects and programs from conception to completion, both as an owner and consultant. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California Coast University. His primary emphasis throughout his career has been CM/PM professional services, leading project delivery services by influencing, empowering, and connecting with teams through respect and trust to achieve extraordinary results.
He has had a long association with the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). Dave served on the National Board of Directors from 2005-2012 and in 2013, he was inducted into CMAA College of Fellows. He also is the co-author of CMAA’s and the industry’s first Construction Management Standards of Practice, which was key to developing the Construction Management Certification program. He also was instrumental in CMAA’s negotiating a memorandum of understanding with the Construction Management Association of Korea.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Dave currently serves on the Construction Engineering and Management Advisory Board at University of Colorado at Denver.
