Charles J. Maikish
Charles Maikish is the retired managing director and COO for Citibank Reality Services. He holds a JD degree from New York Law School and a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s Seminary and College. At Citibank, he was responsible for all real estate operations globally, including strategic space planning, design and construction, and financial and business planning. He previously was managing director, global head of real estate, for BlackRock.
After the 9/11 attack, he served as executive director of the Lower Manhattan Construction Command Center, where he was responsible to the NY governor and NYC mayor for coordinating all public and private construction in Lower Manhattan. Charles also has served in executive and management positions for JP Morgan Chase, Columbia University, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. His career experience includes service as a lawyer, engineer, and real estate executive. Among his many honors are the ACE Mentor of the Year Award, the New York City Fire Department Ben Franklin Medal, the Society of Military Engineers Honored Civilian Award, and the De La Salle Medal from Manhattan College.
