Christopher S. Traylor
Christopher S. (Chris) Traylor is co-president of Traylor Bros., Inc., a family-owned corporation founded in 1946. He has a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Stanford University and a master’s in civil engineering from the University of California-Berkley.
His company has an array of services, including tunnels and other underground structures, bridges and highways, locks and dams, ports and wharfs, industrial, power, and equipment support. He is a member of the Construction Industry Round Table, the Beavers, and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He received the 2016 ASCE Outstanding Projects and Leaders (OPAL) Award for Construction. He serves as the 2017-2018 president of The Moles.
Chris is a member of the board of the Construction Industry Ethics & Compliance Initiative (CIECI) and the Construction Industry Safety Initiative (CISI). Traylor Bros. is proud to be a founding member of CISI, a forum created by industry leaders to improve safety culture and best practices through collaboration with partners and clients. In addition, Chris has served since 2015 on the University of Evansville Board of Trustees.
