Bradford Russell
Brad Russell is director of architecture/engineering with BR Architects, Inc., in Richardson, TX. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a bachelor’s degree in architecture at Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is currently writing his PhD thesis at Southern Methodist University. Brad has been a designer for more than 25 years. A licensed Professional Engineer and a Registered Architect, he is experienced in a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, entertainment, and healthcare. He has generated new knowledge for the industry as the holder of two patents on load bearing structural assemblies. He has been an invited speaker at many technical conferences across the U.S. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Among his many honors, Brad was selected to receive the Presidential Citation Award from the American Institute of Architects Dallas Chapter in 2022.
